 Key Features and Benefits

Financial Aid: Under the scheme, beneficiaries receive up to ₹1,20,000 to support house construction.

Paid in Installments: The grant is disbursed in three instalments ₹40,000 in the first, ₹60,000 in the second, and ₹20,000 in the third. 

Eligibility:

  • The applicant’s family must belong to SEBC (Socially & Educationally Backward Classes), EBC, or nomadic / denotified tribes. 
  • The annual family income should not exceed ₹6,00,000. 
  • The applicant should already have a plot or piece of land (in rural or urban areas) where a permanent house can be built. 

Document Requirements

  1. Certificate of caste / sub-caste of the applicant (Applicant of economically backward class does not need to attach caste certificate), Leaving Certificate of the applicant (if educated)
  2. Certificate of Income
  3. Proof of residence of the applicant (any one of Aadhar Card / Electricity Bill / License / Lease Agreement / Election Card / Ration Card)
  4. Certified copy of allotment letter of allotment order if land / ready house has been received under any poverty housing scheme.
  5. Land Ownership Base / Document / Size Form / Form of Rights / Charter (as applicable)
  6. Certificate to be given to the applicant by the Talati Mantri / City Talati Mantri / Circle Inspector of the Gram Panchayat for sanctioning housing assistance
  7. Building construction permit
  8. Certificate of BPL
  9. Certificate of husband’s death (if a widow)
  10. Copy of the map showing the area of ​​the land on which the building is to be constructed, signed by Talati Mantrishree.
