Important Note on Toilet Construction

  • If the beneficiary is eligible for a separate toilet subsidy of ₹12,000, it will be provided under relevant rules.
  • If not eligible, the beneficiary must compulsorily construct a toilet from the ₹1,70,000 assistance.

Eligibility Rules & Conditions (Read Carefully)

To avoid rejection, ensure you meet all conditions below
  • Applicant or family members must not have availed benefits under any other government housing scheme
  • Annual family income (Rural & Urban): must not exceed ₹6,00,000
  • Applicant must be at least 21 years old
  • House construction must be completed within 2 years from the first installment
  • A nameplate stating “Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana – State Government” must be installed on the house
  • The scheme is applicable to both rural and urban areas

Maximum Construction Cost Limits

The government has fixed upper limits on house construction cost
  • Urban Areas: ₹10,00,000
  • Rural Areas: ₹7,00,000

Note

  • For houses built under Affordable Housing Schemes in urban areas, these limits may not apply, and scheme-specific limits will be considered.

  • Signed Land Map showing boundaries (Certified by Talati-cum-Mantri)
  • Voter ID Card
  • House Construction Permission Letter
  • Declaration stating no prior benefit under any housing scheme
  • Photograph of open plot or dilapidated house
