The GCA has been saddled with debt to build the world's largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad. There was also discussion that the GCA wanted to improve its financial condition by compromising the health of the people and filling its coffers. The GCA may have done so, but the state government was also eyeing the tendency of the GCA at the risk of exploding the people of Ahmedabad.

In a statement issued to the Gujarat Cricket Association at 10 am, he said that the India-England T20 matches to be played on March 16, 18 and 20 at the Narendra Modi Stadium would be played without spectators due to rising cases of Corona. Refunds will also be given to the audience purchasing tickets. The GCA has decided to play the next matches behind closed doors after discussions with the BCCI. Also a policy on return of tickets for the remaining three matches. Also, those who have been given free tickets are requested not to visit the stadium.
Half of the stadium was announced to be empty on 12 March
Earlier, the Gujarat Cricket Association announced on 12 March that the stadium would be kept half-empty and Kovid's guideline would be followed. But in the second T20 match between India and England on Sunday, a large number of spectators saw the mask and social distance guidelines. A seat was to be left vacant between the two spectators, but a large crowd of people thronged. The roads around the stadium were jammed for hours before and after the match. The government, which allowed 200 in the marriage, was keeping an eye closed for the crowd.
65 thousand tickets distributed :

In fact, GCA has distributed 65,000 tickets at the stadium with a capacity of 1.30 lakhs at 50%. All units in 8 areas, including hotels and restaurants, closed after 10 pm.
Due to increasing cases of corona in Ahmedabad city, it has been decided to close hotels, restaurants, food and beverage markets, malls, gal and tea stalls in 8 areas after 10 pm. In this regard, the municipal corporation today decided that hotels and restaurants in Jodhpur, South Bopal, Navarangpura, Bodakdev, Thaltej, Gota Paladi, Ghatlodia and Maninagar will be closed after 10 pm. The Manekchowk and Raipur food and beverage markets in the city will also remain closed.
More than 200 new cases of corona in the city :
As Corona's hotspots and death spots once again transition to Ahmedabad, and after the corporation elections, new cases are rising. Subsequently, the corporation has also ordered closure of business units in 8 areas of the city after 10 pm. In the last 24 hours, 209 new cases and 150 patients have been cured in the city and district. While not a single patient died. As a result, the death toll remained unchanged at 2,324.
