Corona breaks record in Gujarat, highest number ever reported today, total death close to 4000 : After the Diwali festival, Gujarat is witnessing a massive surge in corona cases.

Notably, the total number of recovered patients reached 2,01,949 today with 1283 patients recovering from new cases of corona virus. Today the total death toll due to corona of 14 patients has reached 3906.

Notably, there are currently 14287 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 99.99 per cent. So while continuous efforts are being made to increase the corona virus tests in Gujarat, a total of 91,469 new tests have been conducted in the state today. The total number of tests has reached 7,480,789.
On an average more than 1500 cases in last 5 days in Gujarat.
Concern increased in Ahmedabad district with 349 cases
Today, 326 cases of corona have been reported in Ahmedabad city, 23 in Ahmedabad district, 221 in Surat city, 56 in Surat district, 128 in Vadodara city, 41 in Vadodara district, 69 in Rajkot city, 58 in Rajkot district, 42 in Gandhinagar city and 39 in Gandhinagar district. Notably, after Ahmedabad, the situation in Surat has worsened with regard to Corona. The local bodies have been on high alert with more than 1700 cases reported in the last five days in both the cities.
DyCM statement regarding vaccine trial
Regarding the trial of the vaccine, the DyCM said in a statement that the training of doctors on the vaccine has been completed and the trial of the vaccine is currently underway. The vaccine will be tested on 20 healthy young people every day. The vaccine will be administered to these youngsters twice a month for which the volunteers are coming forward on their own.

Statement regarding test for people coming from outside Gujarat
The Deputy Chief Minister further said that it has not been decided to make the test mandatory for entry into Gujarat and those who want to go out get free corona antigen test. A citizen of the state can do this test for free whether he wants to go out or not. The number of active cases in Gujarat is less than other states and a system like Maharashtra will not be set up in Gujarat.
