This is in addition to the current quota of foodgrains than those available on the free grain ration card. Now the Prime Minister has announced to extend this till November 31. Along with this, the government has also launched 'One Nation, One Ration Card' scheme. Beneficiary will not be able to get cheap ration from PDS if it is not linked on the basis of ration card.

This is how you can link the ration card with Aadhaar,
Step 2 - Then click on the 'Star Now' option, enter the address in it, select the 'Ration Card' benefit type from all the options.
Step 3 - Then select the ration card plan and fill in the details like ration card number, Aadhaar number, e-mail address and mobile number. Then enter the One Chime Password (OTP) on the registered mobile.
Step 4 - Then post the notification after completing the on-screen process. Step 5: Once the application is verified, the ration card will be linked to Aadhaar. Ration card portability service has been implemented in 20 states and union territories since June 1.
