Eligibility Criteria

1. Medical Social Worker – Qualification

• Candidates must have:
• MSW (Psychiatry) / MSW / M.A. (Social Work) from a recognized university
• Basic Computer Knowledge
• Proficiency in Gujarati or Hindi

2. Field Officer – Qualification

Applicants should have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work / Sociology / Psychology
• Basic Computer Skills
• Gujarati or Hindi language knowledge

Age Limit

• Category Medical Social Worker Field Officer
• General 18–37 Years 18–35 Years

Age Relaxation (As per Gujarat Govt. Rules)

• General Women: +5 Years
• Reserved Category (Men): +5 Years
• Reserved Category (Women): +10 Years (Max 45 Years)
• PwD General: +10 Years (Max 45 Years)
• PwD Reserved: +20 Years (Max 45 Years)
• Ex-Servicemen: Service Years + 3 Years

Salary Structure

Post	Initial Salary (First 5 Years)	Permanent Pay Level
Medical Social Worker	₹49,600/- Fixed	Level-7: ₹39,900 – ₹1,26,600
Field Officer	₹40,800/- Fixed	Level-6: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400

Permanent salary becomes applicable after completing 5 years of satisfactory service.

Selection Process

The recruitment will include:

• Written Competitive Exam (MCQ – OMR / CBRT)
• Merit List Preparation
• Document Verification

Normalization of marks will be applied if required.

Job Role & Responsibilities

Medical Social Worker

• Patient counseling and social case work
• Support psychiatric services

Field Officer

• Monitor women & child welfare schemes
• Conduct field surveys and reporting
• Supervise Anganwadi centers
• Organize community awareness programs
• Maintain inspection records and reports
