Tharad-Vav new district declared from Banaskantha, now there will be 34 districts, headquarters will be Tharad
tharad-vav new 34th district of Gujarat With the beginning of the new year 2025 in Gujarat, important decisions have been taken in the state cabinet meeting, which especially includes the statements of the new district and municipalities.
Thus, the new district of Vav-Tharad has been created from Banaskantha district. With this new formation, 8 talukas will be formed in Vav-Tharad district, and the headquarters of this district will be Tharad. Similarly, now 6 talukas will remain in Banaskantha district.
In addition, in-principle approval has been given for the formation of 9 new municipalities for areas like Anand, Mehsana, Vapi, Gandhidham, Morbi, Surendranagar, Navsari, Nadiad, and Porbandar.
These new administrative divisions and urban development will improve civic amenities in different regions of Gujarat and are likely to provide further impetus to the development of the state.
