PGVCL Apprentice Lineman Recruitment 2024

PGVCL is a subsidiary of GUVNL (previously GEB), which distributes power throughout Kutch and Saurashtra. It has multiple offices spread throughout these regions. The following positions of Apprentice Lineman Trainee are open under various PGVCL Circle Offices in accordance with the Apprentice Act of 1961, which was designed to fill Apprentice Linemen under PGVCL. However, not enough qualified candidates were available from the District Employment Office. During the hiring procedure, eligible candidates (both registered and unregistered with the Employment Office) must show up in person with the necessary paperwork.

Educational Qualification :

10th pass in regular mode in recognized board.
A two-year degree from a formal training program is required. wireman/ Electician's courses should be passed.

Age limit

Date of Advertisement Age Limit from 14.08.2024:
At least 18 years for all candidates.
Maximum 25 years for two reserved candidates.
Maximum 30 years for reserved candidates.
Maximum 35 years for senior candidate.
GSO-295 (Inheritance of employees of PGVCL only).
Maximum 40 years for candidates.
Required documents/certificates (attested copy) (in two sets) :
04 (four) Recent Passport Size Photographs.
School Leaving Certificate
Caste Certificate.
All educational qualification certificates.
Technical Qualification I.T.I. (Electrician/Wireman) Marksheet and Certificate (with all pass/fail marksheets).
Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Election Card/Driving License etc.).
NCVT/GCVT Certificate.
Disability Certificate for Handicapped Candidates.
Copy of the card, if any, which is registered with the Employment Exchange Office.

Selection Process

Pole Climbing Test (Pole Climbing Test) as a physical fitness test prescribed by the candidate. Place 52 to pass as per instructions given.
Candidates have to complete this physical fitness test within 50 seconds.
The shortlist of the candidates who have successfully cleared the physical aptitude test will be prepared based on the percentage of total marks secured by them in the ITI examination. (If passed in more than 2 attempts in any semester or year, the percentage will be considered as 35%.).
