Under this scheme, farmers in Gujarat can avail subsidies and financial assistance through the Horticulture Department enabling them to purchase harvesting equipment at low cost. This support is not only contributing to the adoption of modern agricultural practices but also in increasing the productivity and efficiency of farming operations across the state.
- The unit cost will be Rs 2 lakh
- Eligible farmers can get assistance covering up to 25% of the cost of the equipment or up to Rs 50,000 whichever is less.
- FPO FPC FIG SHG Co-operative Societies are eligible for assistance covering up to 75% of the cost of equipment or Rs 1,50,000 whichever is less.
- Assistance can be availed once every five years
For Scheduled Tribes
- The unit cost will be Rs 2 lakh
- Scheduled caste farmers are eligible for assistance up to 50 percent of the cost of equipment or up to Rs 1 lakh, whichever is earlier.
- FPO FPC FIG SHG Co-operative Societies are eligible for assistance covering up to 75% of the cost of equipment or Rs 1,50,000 whichever is less.
- Assistance is eligible once every five years
Farmers are required to purchase imported implements under this scheme.Farmers are required to procure implements certified by ISOBSI or system from ISI Government recognized institutions. Such implements should be procured from authorized dealers of the company.
