Earlier PM Awas Yojana was known as Indira Awas Yojana (IAY) which was launched in 1985, this scheme was changed to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in 2015, PMGAY also known as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin. As it is known, PM is a part of Awas Yojana, provided that under it only the people of rural areas are given the benefits of Awas Yojana.

What is Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural List?
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, assistance is given to the poor and homeless people of the country to build houses, and with the help of this amount, citizens living below the poverty line are able to build their own houses. The work of providing housing to the homeless and poor citizens of India is continuously being done by the government, PM Awas Yojana has 2 forms, first Gramin and second Urban which is for urban areas.
Those who live in cities, their names are issued in the urban beneficiary list of housing, apart from this, the names of those living in rural areas are issued in the rural list. Procedure for viewing Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural list
- If you don't have a registration number, and you live in a village, you can check the list by following the following procedures carefully.
- First visit the official website - https://pmayg.nic.in/
- Now the homepage of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Grameen will open in front of you.
- Here click on the option Awassoft in the menu bar above.
- Now click on the Report option present in the drop down menu.
- After this you will be redirected to https://rhreporting.nic.in/netiay/newreport.aspx page.
- Here you click on the option of Beneficiary details for verification present in the Social Audit Reports (H) section.

- Now the MIS Report page will open in front of you.
- Now on this page you select your state name, district name, block name, village name and select PRADHAN MANTRI AWAAS Yojana in Yojana benefits section.
- After this enter the captcha code and click on the submit button.
- PM Awas Gramin List: After this, the beneficiary list of your village will open in front of you, you can see on this page who has been allotted housing in your village, and what is the progress now, you can also print this page if you want. .
Check PM Awas Yojana Gramin Beneficiary Details
- First visit the PM Awas Yojana Gramin portal.
- Now click on the Stakeholders option in the MENU section on the homepage.
- Now a dropdown menu will open in front of you, where you click on the option of IAY / PMAYG Beneficiary.
- Now a new page will open in front of you, where you enter your registration number and click on submit button.

- This is how you can view beneficiary details of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Apart from this, if you don't know your PM Awas Registration Number, it doesn't matter, just follow the following steps.
- Click on the Advanced Search option present in the corner on the above page.
- Now a new page will open in front of you, where you can search Beneficiary Details by entering some details.
- Aadhaar Card Number
- User's consent to use Aadhaar
- If the applicant is MNREGA registered, then his job card number
- Swachh Bharat Mission Yojana number of the beneficiary
- Bank account details
Process to Check PM Awas Yojana Status:
Step-1: Visit the official website.
- To check PM accommodation status first visit the official website - https://pmaymis.gov.in/
- Now after that click on Citizen Assessment option in Menu section.
- Now a drop down menu will open in front of you.
Step-2: Select the option of Track Your Assessment Status.
- Select Track Your Assessment Status from the dropdown menu.
- After this, a new page of https://pmaymis.gov.in/track_application_status.aspx will open in front of you, here you will see 2 options.
- In this, the first option will be By Name, Father’s Name & Mobile Number and the second option will be of Assessment ID.
Step - 3: Check PM Awas yojna Status
- Now choose any one of these two options as per your convenience.
- Enter the information asked on the new page.
- After this click on the submit button.
- Now the Assessment Status will appear on your screen, you can save it for future use.
