VMC Recruitment 2023-24 – Educational Qualification:
Medical Officer (Contract Based): MBBS, must be registered with Gujarat Medical Council.
Staff Nurse (Eligibility Criteria): BSC (Nursing) course from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery course from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. It is necessary to be registered with Gujarat Nursing Council. It is necessary to have done a certificate course in basic computer.
MPHW- Male (Agreement Based): 12th pass and 1 year training course for MPHW from a Government recognized institute or 12th pass and Sanitary Inspector course from a recognized institute. It is necessary to have done a certificate course in basic computer.
Security Guard (Out Sourcing): Must have passed Class 8 and have complete knowledge of Gujarati language. Army ex-servicemen get preference in selection

VMC Recruitment 2023-24 – Rules:
- General responsibilities of advertising: Before applying for the above mentioned post, it should be ensured whether the candidate possesses the required eligibility or not.
- Interested candidates may apply from 29/12/2023 (12.01 hrs).
- Online application has to be made on www.vmc.gov.in website during 12/01/2024 (23.59 hours).
- Before applying online, information and notices related to recruitment will have to be read from www.vmc.gov.in.
Educational Requirements:
If educational qualification details are not included for each post then the educational qualification details are to be filled in OTHER1 and computer course requirements to be filled in OTHER2.
Age Limit:
For Jaga No. 1 - Above 62 years and retired candidates will not be able to apply. For Jaga No. 2, 3 and 4 – Candidates above 45 years of age and retired will not be able to apply.
Age will be considered considering the last date of acceptance of application.
The details filled by the candidate in the prescribed application form will be considered final for the entire recruitment process and proofs of the same will have to be produced in original when asked for by the office, otherwise the application form at that stage will be considered canceled.
The candidate must have passed CCC+/CCC level computer course from a government recognized institute as per the vacancy.
During the recruitment process, if any candidate directly or indirectly tries to make political or any other recommendation, the candidate will be disqualified.
