The coordinating committee met at the Ahmedabad Geeta Mandir bus station on Tuesday. The members of the coordinating committee have prepared the strategy for October 21. The government has been given time till 10 pm on October 20. Speaking to News18 Gujarati, a member of the coordinating committee said that the government should consider the issue of demands of ST Corporation employees. Because even in 2019 we gave a fight. Even after 2 years, the government has not solved those questions. Other government corporations are given 28 per cent DA. While we are given only 12 percent. Heirs are not even given jobs. 7 arrears of pay commission are also not paid. Many such questions have been raised many times but to no avail.
We postponed the fight because of natural disasters and political change. The time that the new minister gave us 15 days is also over. Even the Transport Minister and the Finance Minister are not listening so we 3 organizations have given 30 hours to the government. Talk to us and resolve the issues by sitting down. Otherwise, if the passengers of the state get in trouble, we will not be responsible for it. Employees of ST Nigam chanted slogans at ST Nigam Geeta Mandir bus station and expressed outrage against the government. If the government does not meet the demand, 40,000 employees will land on Mass CL and the wheels of 8,000 buses will stop.
