 New launch: Tata Motors launches Xpres-T EV : The sedan, which covers a distance of 213 km on a single charge, is priced at Rs 9.54 lakh 

Automobile companies are now launching their new products in the electric vehicle segment to promote green mobility. Tata Motors has launched its first electric sedan in the Indian market under the Xpres-T. The company showcased the car in July. Since then, the company has officially launched the car. The Xpres-T is a re-branded model of the Tata Tigor EV. The car has a starting price of Rs 9.54 lakh in the Indian market under the FAME-2 subsidy, with the top variant priced at Rs 10.64 lakh.

Tata Motors will sell this electric car in the taxi segment. It includes both internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle and electric vehicle. This electric subcompact sedan comes in two ranges like 213 km and 165 km (ARAI certified). Its 21.5 kWh battery pack offers a range of 213 km. As well, its 16.5 kWh battery pack offers a range of 165 km.

According to the company, the 16.5 kWh battery pack takes 90 minutes to charge up to 80%. Also, the 21.5 kWh battery pack takes 110 minutes to charge up to 80%. This electric car can be charged using a normal charger or any 15A plug point.
