After being overpowered by Delhi police (DP) personnel, Kapil Gujjar had chanted the 'Jai Shri Ram' and said, 'hamare desh me aur kisi ki nahi chalegi, sirf Hinduon ki chalegi [only Hindu shall have a say in our desh, no one else],' as he was taken into custody by the Delhi Police.

Meanwhile, the situation remains tense at Shaheen Bagh on February, 2 after people from surrounding areas marched towards the protest site, demanding that the protesters evacuate the road that has remained blocked for 50 days now.
